Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://shirazpatisserie.co.uk/ (the "Website") and any order you place with us for cakes, biscuits, nuts, mini desserts, bespoke cakes, Taste Portrait experiences, or any other products we offer (together, "Products").
By using our Website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website or place an order.
1. Who We Are

Shiraz Patisserie Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13154029
6 Belmont Parade, Finchley Rd
London NW11 6XP
United Kingdom
Telephone: 020 8458 9793
Email: info@shirazpatisserie.co.uk
Opening hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 6:00pm; Sunday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
2. Our Products
We offer handcrafted cakes, mini desserts, biscuits and nuts, alongside bespoke cakes and our chef-led Taste Portrait experience.
We make every effort to display our Products, including images, descriptions and prices, as accurately as possible. However:
- Because our Products are handmade, slight variations in appearance, size, shape and colour between the image shown and the Product delivered are normal and are not a fault.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the finished Product, particularly for bespoke and seasonal items.
- We may occasionally need to substitute an ingredient or decoration with a suitable alternative, for example due to seasonal availability, without affecting the overall quality of the Product.
3. Allergens and Dietary Information
Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and other common allergens. While we take care in preparing our Products, we cannot guarantee that any Product is completely free from traces of a particular allergen due to the shared preparation environment.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us before ordering so that we can advise you and discuss your requirements. It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergy or dietary requirement at the time of ordering.
Allergen and ingredient information is available on request. Where you provide us with allergy or dietary information, we will use it only to prepare your order safely, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Placing an Order
Orders may be placed through our Website, or by contacting us directly for bespoke cakes and Taste Portrait enquiries.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the Product(s) selected. A contract between you and us is only formed once we confirm your order, for example by email or order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where:
- A Product is unavailable or out of stock
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment
- We identify a pricing or description error
- We are unable to fulfil the order within the requested timeframe, particularly for bespoke or short-notice orders
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.
5. Bespoke Cakes and Taste Portrait
Bespoke cakes and Taste Portrait experiences are created individually based on the requirements, preferences, memories or story you share with us. Because these Products are made to your specification:
- Because bespoke and Taste Portrait orders vary depending on your requirements, we will provide you with a quote once we understand what you are asking for. A deposit, calculated as a proportion of that quoted price, will then be required to confirm your order. We will confirm the deposit amount and any balance payment terms with you individually before your order is confirmed.
- Design details discussed verbally or informally should be confirmed in writing (for example by email) to avoid misunderstanding.
- As these Products are personalised and made to order, they are not eligible for the standard cancellation rights described in Section 8, once production has begun.
- Deposits are non-refundable once we have begun work on your order, for example sourcing ingredients or beginning design or preparation.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices on our Website are correct, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before proceeding and give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel.
Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our payment provider, Shopify Payments. We do not store your complete payment card details on our own systems.
Prices for bespoke cakes and Taste Portrait experiences will be confirmed with you individually before an order is placed.
7. Collection
Products are available for collection from our bakery at 6 Belmont Parade, Finchley Rd, London NW11 6XP. We do not offer delivery.
We will confirm your collection date and time when we confirm your order. Please ensure someone is available to collect your order at the agreed time, as our Products are perishable and cannot always be held for collection at a later date.
Please check your order carefully at the point of collection. As our Products are perishable, any issues with quality or condition should be reported to us as soon as possible — see Section 9.
Risk in the Product passes to you once it has been collected.
8. Cancellations and Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer ordering online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
However, this right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, and does not apply to goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. As our cakes, bespoke Products, Taste Portrait experiences, biscuits and nuts are either personalised, made to order, or perishable, this cancellation right will generally not apply once we have begun preparing your order.
If you wish to cancel an order before we have begun preparing it, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate this.
This section does not affect your right to a refund or replacement for faulty, damaged or incorrect Products under Section 9.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a Product arrives faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible, and in any event within 24 hours of collection, at info@shirazpatisserie.co.uk or 020 8458 9793.
Please provide your order details and, where possible, a photograph of the issue.
Where a Product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will offer, as appropriate, a replacement, refund, or partial refund. This does not affect your other legal rights as a consumer, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our Website, including text, images, logos, photographs and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
11. Accounts
If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law
Subject to the above, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from an allergic reaction where you failed to inform us of a known allergy or intolerance in accordance with Section 3.
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control.
13. Privacy
Our use of your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Products, services, legal requirements or business practices.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. The Terms in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your order will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform, or to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
